This November, the Unitary Platform against Gender Violence will organize a new edition of the Forum against Gender Violence. The meeting will be held on November 5, 6 and 7 at the Espai Francesca Bonnemaison, located at Sant Pere Més Baix Street, number 7, in the city of Barcelona. Under the name 'Let's face the culture of rape: let's transform realities, justice and reparation', the XXII Forum against Gender Violence will propose three days of debate and reflection to identify the structures and imaginaries that sustain sexist violence and move towards new forms of prevention, justice and reparation. There will be round tables, conversations, workshops and many more activities that will promote moments to train, debate and share action strategies. Specifically, the opening day will have a first round table 'The culture of rape' , which will address this reality as a power structure that crosses institutions, culture, the media and collective imaginaries, and a second round table 'Let's transform realities, justice and reparation' , which will analyze specific experiences of violence and pose challenges to guarantee prevention, reparation and rights. The XXII Forum against Gender Violence will be a space for denunciation and mutual solidarity, where the violence that affects older women and migrant and racialized women will also be discussed, the perspective of new generations on sex education, relationships and the prevention of violence, and sexist violence from the perspective of disability and neurodivergence, as well as collective construction to imagine new models of support in the face of more feminist sexist violence.
