Next Monday, October 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya will promote a research seminar on gender and information and communication technologies. The aim will be to explore gender gaps and barriers towards inclusive gender equality in the digital society. The event will take place at the premises of Rambla del Poblenou number 154 in Barcelona. Organized by the Gender and ICT research group, which was born in 2006 to explore the gender dynamics involved in the design and use of technological innovations, the seminar will have a first part where the results will be presented of research and the work plan of current projects will be shared with students, researchers and teachers. Afterwards, a space for debate will be opened to explore how to achieve inclusive gender equality.
