Next Thursday, May 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the Parc de Recerca i Innovació of the Universitat de Girona will be decked out to host the Women Evolution Congress and the 'We Leadership Awards Girona'.
The city of Girona will host the Women Evolution Congress, which will seek to empower women through knowledge, health, technology and networking. Next Thursday, May 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the event will take place at the Parc de Recerca i Innovació of the Universitat de Girona, located at Carrer Pic de Peguera, number 15, in the city of Girona. First, there will be the institutional welcome by Anna Albar, general director of the Parc de Recerca i Innovació of the Universitat de Girona, Marina Geli, scientific director of Women Evolution, and Gemma Geis, vice mayor, first deputy mayor and councilor for economic promotion of the Ajuntament de Girona. Then, there will be a round table mainly on the evolution of health prevention in the company, a presentation on empowerment through art, culture and fashion, a conversation on business and innovation and three presentations on female leadership in the railway sector, the contribution of women in the evolution of the economy and self-leadership. After the break, there will be a career conversation, a panel discussion on female talent in STEM careers, and a talk on fear mastery. Finally, there will be the presentation of the 'We Leadership Awards Girona', which will have two categories: the award for professional career and leadership and the award for the inspiring and innovative entrepreneur.
