Saba-TIC aims to publicize the innovative aspect of the entities of Sabadell and the local and metropolitan environment, as well as to train/inform citizens in this area. Sabadell City Council wants to disseminate new technologies between young people and children and, at the same time, break the digital divide for socioeconomic or age reasons. And the congress works in this sense.
Last year, the first edition of Saba-TIC took place, with the assistance of 2,000 people. Now they prepare the second, and they want to "take a step forward with respect to the first edition, with more group workshops and improving the quality of the contents". The "Jardinets de l'Espai Cultura" of the Fundació Antiga Caixa Sabadell will once again be the venue for the meeting.
There are already some activities scheduled for the second edition of Saba-TIC, but they want more. That's why they call for 3D/4D design and printing projects, digital manufacturing, Digital Art, Virtual Reality, educational robotics, drones, 360º photography, home automation, Big Data, etc. Proposals can be made to have an exhibitor or to hold workshops. The interested organizations and companies can complete this form.
