Last Friday, July 31, the new edition of the Summer Campus ended. In total, 153 facilitators worked on digital training with a dynamic, practical, fun and enjoyable approach, using the content developed within the framework of the 'Més Digitals' program of the Secretariat of Digital Policies of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Specifically, from Wednesday, July 1 to Friday, July 31, nine training courses were facilitated. Exceptionally, the last edition of the Summer Campus was monographic and had a mandatory initial course for all registered people, where the 'Més Digitals' program of the Secretariat of Digital Policies was briefly presented and the different courses available were explained. Once passed, they could take any of the eight training proposals that made up the training offer: 'Discovering the digital world', 'Moving through the digital world', 'Entering the digital world', 'Protecting ourselves in the digital world', 'Your health in the digital world', 'Healthy consumption in the digital world', 'Digital tools for employability' and 'Digital skills for independent living' . In this sense, the new edition of the Summer Campus ended with 113 people approved, who received the corresponding badges in accordance with the digital skills according to DigCompEdu worked on in the nine training courses.
This autumn, it is expected that the facilitators of the Punt TIC Network will be able to carry out these training activities directly with the participants of their Punt TIC and, in this way, take advantage of the knowledge of innovative strategies and the discovery of teaching methodologies to promote digital empowerment throughout the Catalan territory, helping citizens to achieve digital skills and improve their quality of life through technology. In this sense, the new edition of the Summer Campus had various materials, such as, for example, guides (recommendations, methodologies and guidelines) or documents (presentations, activities and challenges), which the facilitators can use in their programming.
