The initiative seeks to bring current events, politics, culture and society closer to the young audience, with a critical and Catalan perspective, direct language and dynamic formats.

"We talk about the concerns of young people with a Catalan perspective and with a format that is attractive to them," explains Paulina Plucinska, a member of 'no m'importa'. Paulina Plucinska, Eulàlia Vinyolas, Neus Climent, Lluc Amengual, Adrià Carrillo and Albert Thió are the six people who bring the 'no m'importa' communication project to life . The initiative was born with the aim of bringing current affairs, politics, culture and society closer to the young public. "It is a project that was born on social media with the aim of creating a digital space where we can share the conversations we have on bar terraces with our friends, and do so in a direct language, far from conventional media," says Eulàlia Vinyolas, a member of 'no m'importa'.

The communication project 'no m'importa' stands out for its critical and Catalan perspective, its direct language and its dynamic and attractive formats. Through its accounts on social networks, specifically on Instagram and TikTok, the initiative seeks to refute clichés such as the political and social disinterest of young people. "We want to confront this perverse discourse of 'Young people are not interested in what is happening in the world', because it is not true. We talk a lot with our environment about all these things that are happening and that affect us", says Vinyolas. "For example, we talk about the elections, legislative changes, precariousness, the housing crisis, the language issue, etc. We also share cultural and leisure proposals", mentions Plucinska. Recently, the initiative organized its first event with interesting presentations and vibrant musical performances. The team is currently working on possible proposals, alliances and collaborations.

Specifically, understanding how algorithms work has been one of the great challenges of the initiative. "We play with the algorithm, and we activism knowing what social networks are like. We know our audience, because we are ourselves, that is, we create content about what we would like to see and read, but we must always take into account the complex logic of social networks. Clearly, we must take care of social networks, promote projects that inspire hope and create safe spaces," Vinyolas points out.
