The ICT Point of the Roca Umbert Library has presented new training proposals to continue understanding, organizing and exploring the digital world. Among them, the session 'The keys to artificial intelligence' stands out, which will be held on Wednesday, September 30, at 6 p.m., at the ICT Point facilities. The participatory workshop will delve into the functioning of artificial intelligences, will introduce the training of artificial intelligence models, will explore everyday uses and will reflect on social and environmental challenges.
During the month of October, the ICT Point of the Roca Umbert Library will host other training proposals: 'Google Lens and other applications to explore the world' (October 7 and 9 from 10:30 to 12 pm), where plants, animals and objects will be identified with the mobile phone camera and visual recognition tools will be discovered, 'Artificial Intelligence. Get Organized' (October 14 and 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.), where you will discover how to use artificial intelligence to plan sessions, organize tasks, prepare trips or learn new things, 'Easy Mobile' (October 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.), where you will learn the basic functions of the Android mobile phone, 'Advanced Drive' (October 19 and 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.), where you will improve file organization, permission management and efficient and collaborative operation, and 'Create and share files with your computer' (October 21 and 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.), where you will learn how to organize, save and share documents, photographs and other files with Google Drive, Google Photos and Whatsapp Web. Likewise, the ICT Point of the Roca Umbert Library will promote two workshops: 'Discovering robotics with Tale-Bot' for children aged 5 to 7, on October 10 at 5:30 p.m., and 'Programming with Lego Mindstorms EV3' for boys and girls aged 14 and over, on October 23 at 5:30 p.m. Finally, on Thursday, October 29, at 6:30 p.m., there will be the first monthly meeting of the WordPress community , which will revolve around the benefits and risks of a website with artificial intelligence.
